This site contains plenty of pages of pictures from the old MB brochures that I know many of you enjoy viewing. There is also a page of original magazine adverts for the W123 and some motoring reviews.
To view some of the brochures you will need to download the DjVu plug-in. DjVu files are a bit like Acrobat files (.pdf) but use much better compression. Go here to get the plug-in. Once you have installed it you will be amazed at the download speed and quality of the images.
Apart from the brochures there's also a diecast model W123 page which I know many owners (or wannabee owners) enjoy/envy.
The Helpline page contains interesting features on maintaining your W123. My name is David and my friend Mark Cosovic contributes to this page. Mark lives in Wales (UK) and also runs a brilliant used parts service. He has got just about every part (engines to doors, gearboxes to dashboards) you could desire for your treasured automobile. So if you need a part but can't afford new MB prices then give him a call on:
(+44) 01792 846888
If you don't live in the UK you may wish to contact Mark via email. He is not on the web but if you send the messages to me I will forward them onto him.
If you need help on a problem with your beloved car there is also a community for W123 enthusiasts to share problems, exchange news, propose ideas and offer advice.
Finally, if you would like to get your own W123 brochures then go mercmobilia (other Mercedes series brochures too..)
Please note my new email address below (as of January 2006). I am afraid that so much spam goes to my old w123.net email address that I am closing it down and will eventually not use it any more. So please update your address books.
There's a lot of stuff behind this front page so lift the bonnet and come inside....
